
Sam is a minimally invasive surgical gynaecologist who has dedicated his career toward improving women’s health.







Sam is a gynaecologist who specialises in complex surgical procedures and seeks to improve women’s quality of life. Sam’s main priority is engaging and involving the patient in the clinical decision making, he believes in patient focused care that is empathetic and evidence based whilst maintaining the highest standard of the latest cutting edge surgical techniques.
His specific areas of interest are endometriosis and the management of pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and management of uterine fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Sam has an Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgical (AGES) fellowship which is the highest level of surgical qualification recognised in Australia as well as a Masters of Minimally Invasive Surgery. He applies his extensive experience in managing the most complex surgical cases that are often dismissed and also offers second opinion consultations.

Sam has worked in women’s health for over a decade and has trained all across Australia. He is actively involved in medical education and teaching and currently has his own AGES accredited fellowship. Sam operates at Macquarie University Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital and Northern Beaches Hospital.
Sam's focus is to manage and relieve pelvic pain and improve fertility outcomes through appropriate surgical removal of endometriotic disease. He specialised in complex endometriosis cases.
Sam is aware there are many approaches to managing uterine fibroids and heavy periods, both surgical and non-surgical. He offers minimally invasive surgical approaches to minimise recovery time and improved clinical outcomes.
Sam has a strong focus on fertility and preserving a woman's reproductive healthy and fertility where-ever possible, by minimising any trauma or damage to reproductive organs with the use of cutting edge surgical techniques.
Sam offers non-mesh alternatives for pelvic organ prolapse and has special qualifications in management of pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic floor surgery as well as incontinence surgery. He focusses on restoring function and improving quality of life.
